ENCCD is in search of an experienced construction Superintendent to manage our projects. This person will supervise a team of workers and ensure projects are executed at high quality and are able to stick to the projected timeline. This role requires excellent communication skills, as the position requires collaboration with various people, such as construction workers, architects, owners and engineers. In order to succeed, it’s important to know how to implement quality, health, and safety standards onsite. ● Leading and managing the on-site construction team, taking responsibility for productivity; resolving
issues of omission, work interfaces, etc.
● Coordinating and overseeing all work on site including but not limited to: scheduling; engineering;
material control; purchasing
● Responsible for equipment and materials on site, including purchases, timely deliveries and inventory of
equipment and materials
● Attending all production meetings
● Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget, and ensuring adherence to these
● Ensuring quality standards are maintained
● Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met
● Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness
● Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs
● Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals
● Collaborating with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
● Completing daily checklist to shut down project site, including locking up all equipment, shutting down
all electricity and locking up project site
● Maintaining daily log of photo documentation
● 3 - 5 years experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar position
● Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
● In-depth understanding of construction operations and procedures
● Excellent knowledge and understanding of construction blueprints and related documents
● Organizational and time management skills
● Ability to lead and motivate a productive teams
● Proficient with MS Office, Word and Excel
● Proficient with scheduling software, and CAE and CAD applications
● Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs
● Ability to interpret and build according to drawings and specifications and other documents
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Standard schedule is Monday- Friday: 40-50 hours/week
● Occasional weekends
● Must be able to commute as required to job-site location
● Annual Base Pay: $85,000 - $140,000, based on level of experience
